Two weeks past, I embarked on a trip with two spiritual brothers. We stayed at a cottage nestled in a small town in Ontario. We drank, smoked, played cards, debated, and watched the fire burn for a few days. The highlight of our sojourn was rising early each morning, marching to the nearby beach, and embracing the brisk morning water.
On a parallel sister journey and embracing morning water as well. Be bold, fortune favours the bold. Following along with admiration and encouragement.
Dive deeply into the unknown with others who will all share in bringing new understandings to the surface. New understandings are the harbingers of new ways of being. They are the life-affirming gasp of the present that part the waters into the future.
Because I'm a tired idiot, I first read "Let's fucking go ethos" as a call to action, like "Let's fucking go crazy." It makes no sense, I know, but my brain made it make sense, and I kind of like it. In any case, thanks for another nutritive read. Onward!
Tip of the hat to you sir! Best example of lived Arete I have heard in a long time. Reminding me of William the bastard/conqueror I don't even know if it's true or not having his troubadours reciting beowolf as his claim during his invasion of greater Britain. RESPECT ! This my second favorite movie scene, my fav will always be Clint Eastwood " I know you guys are just having fun, but my donkey doesn't get it, he thinks you are laughing at him"
Part of the opening of my novel is the joining of two travellers, a man and a woman finding each other through this waking up ritual of cold water. The bigger theme is about finding back ways to celebrate life collectively. Love your lived masculine version....
Let's Fucking Go Ethos
FUCK YES
I like short punchy posts with a once in awhile random rant
Short and punchy!

A revivifying read. A vote for concise pugilism! "Brevity is the soul of wit," as the old bard said.
Short and punchy when you can + one long form : ).
Short and punchy, brother.

I vote for frequent, short and punchy - LFG!
"Let's Fuckining GO" steals nothing out of the soul.
Reluctance, obstacling, thwarting,
Intercepting, keeping from happening,
Nipping in the bud..................
Now that's what will suck the soul dry!
Who cares about being some chilly
when my soul is at stake?
BE BETTER!
